Practitioners are encouraged to register early

Registration has now opened for 100% Optical 2027 – set to be held at Excel London between 27 February–1 March.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to register early to keep updated with announcements from the organisers as the show approaches.
The event will bring together the optical sector – from independent eyewear designers and frame manufacturers, to technology and software, to contact lenses and eye care products.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a comprehensive education programme, curated with official show partners, the AOP.
Alongside attending continuing professional development (CPD) sessions and hearing examples of best practice, delegates can network with other professionals from across the profession.
Dr Byki Huntjens, education lead at the AOP, said: “100% Optical is back for 2027 and registration is officially open. Besides education, this is where our profession comes together: where you can bump into an old colleague, meet someone new, share an idea, discover an area of practice you hadn’t considered before, and hopefully leave thinking a little differently.”
She added: “2027 is also the final year of our current CPD cycle, so it’s a great time to ask yourself: what do I still want to learn?”
Huntjens encouraged practice teams and optometrists interested in attending the show to register early, adding: “Keep an eye out as we start revealing the programme.”
Tasmine Othman, event director at100% Optical, said: “100% Optical is where the whole optical community comes together, and we’re incredibly excited to open registration for 2027.”
“There is so much to see and do, whether you want to develop your clinical knowledge, discover new technology, find your next eyewear collection or explore ideas to grow your practice,” she said.
Entries have now opened for the 2027 Love Eyewear Awards, recognising excellence across designers, manufacturers, and retailers.
Othman said: “This is a chance to recognise and celebrate the creativity, craftsmanship and talent we see across the eyewear industry, and we’re really looking forward to seeing what this year’s entrants have to offer.”
As the official media partner for 100% Optical, OT will bring readers the latest news, interviews, and tips from the show. Follow our coverage ahead of the 2027 event here.
