Dr Sònia Travé Huarte demonstrates how to investigate and diagnose dry eye disease, from simple slit lamp techniques to more complex equipment, such as a meibographer and in-vivo corneal confocal microscope. She explains how to use the TFOS DEWS II report to subclassify the disease and how to educate and treat your patients. You'll see how to perform lid debridement and meibomian gland expression, the use of amniotic membranes, intense pulsed light (IPL) and photobiomodulation.
