100% Optical announces 2026 Love Eyewear Awards winners

The 2026 Love Eyewear Awards, which took place on the opening day of 100% Optical (28 February), saw frame designers, manufacturers and practices from across optics recognised in 13 categories.

Described as the only awards of its kind in the sector, the Love Eyewear Awards celebrate optical brands, manufacturers and designers, as well as practices.

The winners included:

  • New designer 2026: Monarkh Eyewear
  • Women’s sunglasses of the year: Mondottica, ‘CL5126’ colour 580 metallic green
  • Men’s sunglasses of the year: Talla, ‘Belvedere’
  • Women’s frame of the year: Style22, ‘Ingrid’
  • Men’s frame of the year: Clayton Franklin, ‘659’
  • Unisex frame of the year: Giu Pachá Ateliê, ‘Cozy’
  • Kid’s frame of the year: LaFont, ‘Tohu Bohu’
  • Eyewear accessory of the year: Coti Vision
  • Sustainable frame of the year: Eco Eyewear, ‘Neos’
  • Luxury frame of the year: Curoptica, ‘Nova AL bronze sandstorm’
  • Eyewear retailer of the year: The Focal Rooms
  • Most engaging practice window: Davies & Jones Optometrists
  • Best use of social media: The Spectacle Factory.

Sarah Daniels, senior marketing manager at CloserStill Media, which organises 100% Optical, said: “Each year, the Love Eyewear Awards is a highlight of the event, and this year was no exception. We received a record number of exceptional entries, making the judging incredibly competitive.”

“A huge congratulations to all the winners who showcased their fabulous designs, innovation and creativity, and of course well done to all of those who entered and continue to make the industry so excitin,” Daniel added.

Long-term presenter of the awards, Annaliese Dayes, added: “I’ve been presenting 100% Optical’s Love Eyewear Awards for eight years now, and it’s always a super exciting part of the show that offers insight into the newest trends, bringing them to the forefront of the industry in a unique way.”

Hans Zwijsen, co-founder of Style22, winner of Women’s frame of the year, said: “We’ve been nominated many times for awards so it feels amazing to be taking this one home with us; the team back in Holland will be happy with the news. We also noticed that this year’s awards saw a great line up of diverse, new judges.”
