Further education sessions have been added to the programme of continuing professional development (CPD) at 100% Optical, taking place 1–3 March 2025.

The first phase of the programme for the three-day event was released in November, featuring education sessions designed to support practitioner knowledge on core areas of clinical practice.

The programme will feature more than 100 CPD sessions for practitioners from all modes of practice.

AOP members who have registered in advance for the event will be able to access priority bookings in January, with sessions opening to all delegates for booking later that month.

Topics in the programme include myopia management, meeting patient expectations with contact lenses, interpreting optical coherence tomography, cross-sector working, and refining clinical judgement.

With 2025 marking the start of a new CPD cycle, organisers have highlighted the opportunity to begin fulfilling requirements early through the education programme.

Dr Ian Beasley, head of education for the AOP and OT clinical editor, said: “Our extensive education programme has been specifically designed to cover the broad spectrum of clinical practice.”

AOP members will also be able to access the AOP Lounge, which will host discussion workshops and peer review sessions.
