100% Optical first CPD programme reveal
The first phase of the education programme for 100% Optical 2025 has been released ahead of booking opening in January
06 November 2024
Organisers of the UK’s largest optical trade show, 100% Optical, have revealed the first phase of the education programme for the 2025 event.
The three-day event will take place at ExCeL London from 1–3 March 2025 with an extensive programme of education delivered by the AOP – the official UK partner of 100% Optical.
Further continuing professional development sessions will be revealed in due course.
AOP priority bookings will open for members who have registered for the event in advance in January. General bookings will open later that month.
Dr Ian Beasley, head of education for the AOP and OT clinical editor, said: “As we approach the first year of a new CPD cycle, delegates attending 100% Optical will have an early opportunity to get ahead of fulfilling their requirements with our extensive education programme, designed specifically to cover the broad spectrum of clinical practice.”
The education programme will feature more than 100 CPD sessions for practitioners from all modes of practice to choose from and develop in their chosen area, Beasley said.
“AOP members can also access the exclusive AOP lounge which offers opportunities for gaining additional CPD points through a selection of discussion workshops and peer review sessions led by expert speakers,” he added.
CPD sessions will be sponsored by companies including Moorfields Private Eye Hospital, CHEC, Topcon, RetinAI, Mainline Instruments, and Mainline Connections.
The Main Stage will be sponsored by Olleyes, the Optical Academy is sponsored by Essilor International, and the Future Practice rooms are sponsored by Newmedica and Alcon.
Selin Pera, senior marketing executive at CloserStill Media, said: “100% Optical will be jam-packed for three days full of back-to-back CPD content.”
She added: “It’s important to register to attend 100% Optical as early as possible to be kept up to date on all show updates and to be the first to receive communication when bookings go live or when more sessions are added.”
