Over the past two months the OT team has travelled across the UK for political party conference and launch events, from London to Liverpool, and across to Prague (for a sneak peek at Alcon’s latest lens). This has been complemented with a smattering of remote interviews online to ensure we are able to keep you up-to-date with the latest developments in optics. Labour conference learnings

Turning up the sound
Event
OT’s Kimberley Young attended the launch of Nuance Audio, a smart eyewear frame that integrates a discreet hearing solution, from EssilorLuxottica. Alan Pitcher, commercial director for wholesale at EssilorLuxottica, described the product as an innovation that “blends cutting-edge audio software engineering, world-class smart eyewear design, and user-friendly technology.” Read more.
