Over the past few months OT has attended a range of events across London, performed interviews over Teams, and flown to Florida for this year’s annual Transitions conference, where we witnessed to unveiling on the company’s latest product. Here is a snapshot of what we have been up to in the past 60 days.

Event

The OT team were at 100% Optical in force uncovering the latest in frame trends and technology advancements, as well as reporting on education exploring myopia, glaucoma, clinical imaging, and many other key topics. Read more.

Personalisation and the XR Pro

Inside AOP Council

Video

The AOP is seeking applications for its AOP Council of five designated positions, including pre-reg optometrists, newly-qualified/early career optometrists, and domiciliary optometrists. OT’s Laurence Derbyshire met with Councillors preparing to step down from these positions to learn about their experiences. Watch more.

Florida framing

Event

OT’s Kimberley Young joined over 1300 practitioners in Florida at the Transitions Academy to hear about the launch of Color Touch, Transitions’ latest range of tinted lenses that are designed for everyday wear. Read more.

Optomap rollout

Event

OT’s Kimberley Young visited Boots Opticians’ flagship London practice for the official launch of the business’ Optomap rollout. Boots confirmed that Optomap technology would be installed in all 120 of its practices. Read more.

CPD video
