Specsavers supports Eye Health Award at the Visionary Eye Health Awards 2026

Specsavers is supporting the Eye Health Award at the Visionary Eye Health Award 2026, which will take place on Wednesday evening (23 September).

The awards will recognise sight loss organisations that are improving eye health in communities across the UK.

The event is part of the Visionary Annual Conference, which will be held at Conference Aston in Birmingham on 23 and 24 September. The conference will include expert speakers and will allow sight loss organisations to develop ideas that can strengthen services for blind and partially sighted people. Winners will be announced during the conference’s Annual Awards Dinner on Wednesday evening.

The Eye Health Award specifically recognises initiatives that are combining effective services, fresh thinking and collaboration to respond to an identified eye health need, challenge or opportunity.

The shortlisted nominees for this year’s accolade are 4Sight Vision Support, Beacon Vision, and the Nystagmus Network.

4Sight Vision Support is a charity that supports blind and partially sighted people in West Sussex, whilst Beacon Vision supports those with visual impairments with practical advice, wellbeing services and training in the Black Country and Staffordshire.

The Nystagmus Network is a charity that supports people affected by nystagmus in England and Wales.

Each organisation has been shortlisted for outstanding work to improve eye health and access to eye care.
