Optegra appoints UK managing director

Optegra Eye Health Care has appointed Ghada Beal as its new managing director for the UK.

The specialist eye hospital group explained that the move comes as it continues operating under new owner EssilorLuxottica.

Beal joins with more than three decades of experience in the healthcare sector, combining clinical and commercial expertise.

After qualifying as a pharmacist 31 years ago, she has spent her career leading major healthcare organisations, including 26 years at Boots in senior leadership roles.

Beal has advised organisations including Superdrug, Lloyds Pharmacy and the IVF provider, FutureLife.

Since joining the group, Beal has paid visits to several of the 19 hospitals based in the UK.
