Bayfields Opticians and Audiologists has rolled-out Ocumetra’s mEYE Suite myopia management tool to all of its practices.
The mEYE Suite tool is designed to transform myopia data into clear visual reports to enable clinicians to communicate myopia management messages with greater clarity for patients and parents.
James Loughman, CEO of Ocumetra, said: “mEYE Suite gives clinicians the tools to have more informed, more confident conversations with parents, turning complex clinical data into something families can truly understand and act on.”
“Putting that capability into Bayfields’ hands means thousands more children across the UK and Ireland will receive the standard of myopia care they deserve,” he added.
Through the partnership, the tool will be deployed to Bayfields’ more than 50 practices.
Charlotte Cook, optometrist and head of clinical south at Bayfields Opticians and Audiologists, described the move as an “important step” in patient service.
She explained: “By working closely with the knowledgeable and experienced team at Ocumetra, we are also able to provide ongoing support and expert guidance to our clinical teams, helping them to deliver the best possible outcomes for every client.”
