An independent opticians based in Broxbourne hasbeen recognised as “a leader in its field” after being presented with an award in E2 Media’s Awards of Excellence.
E&G Opticians, which is part of the Hakim Group, received the Opticians and Hearing Care Award in recognition of its “expertise and high standards of patient care.”
E2 Media’s Awards of Excellence is held annually and aims to celebrate the achievements and hard work of a range of businesses and industry leaders.
The optometry practice opened in Broxbourne in 1987, and in 2023 was named Independent Optician of the Year in the Global Healthcare and Pharma Awards.
Director at E&G Opticians and Hearing Care, Shabnam Fazl, said: “We’re incredibly honoured to be recognised with an Award of Excellence. This achievement truly reflects our dedication in practice to providing exceptional eye care and hearing care as well as ensuring that each and every patient in our community is given a personalised service, tailored to their individual needs.”
Fazl described how “the whole team at E&G Opticians and Hearing Care are passionate about the community and how we can best support them.”
“We’ve come a long way over the past few years and this is a really proud moment for us,” he added.
Receiving the accolade, the practice was informed that their patient-centred approach to both eye care and hearing care played a key factor in their nomination.
