Scrivens capitalises on demand for hearing services with new appointment

The independent has appointed a new hearing professional services & training manager

Kirran Saimbi

Kirran Saimbi has joined Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care in the newly-created role of hearing professional services and training manager as the independent looks to meet the growing demand for hearing care provision.

In the last 12 months, Scrivens has appointed 25 new hearing aid dispensers. Ms Saimbi has been appointed to build on this by shaping and delivering training for the company’s foundation degree students, and supporting its audiologists to ensure high standards are maintained.

Operations director at Scrivens, Adrian Ellis, said: “Kirran impressed us with her expertise and enthusiasm and is a welcome addition to our team. It has always been important to us to invest in training and support services because well-trained and motivated staff drive our business forward.”

Ms Saimbi is a qualified audiologist and experienced trainer. She joins the company with 10 years’ experience in the industry, including seven years at Boots Hearing Centre.
