Widex UK & Ireland, a manufacturer of hearing aids, and training provider, The Audiology Academy, have formed an exclusive partnership to provide training and continued professional development opportunities for hearing care professionals.

Widex customers will have greater access to The Audiology Academy’s advanced training courses, both at the provider’s purpose-built facility in Wombourne, Staffordshire, and the Widex head office in Chester.

Daniel Laverty, commercial director of WSA UK & Ireland, the company behind Widex, said: “The Audiology Academy has already established itself as one of the leading training centres for audiology in the UK and this is a key reason for us partnering with them. This partnership allows us to expand our education support by working alongside industry experts.”

“Together, we look forward to expanding and developing the courses available within the hearing healthcare industry,” he added.

Jo Miller, founder, managing director and owner of The Audiology Academy, suggested the partnership would provide “the most up-to-date audiological training to even more professionals around the country.”
