AOP members are being encouraged to take part in the association’s Voice of Optometry Survey 2022.

The member survey focuses on how the cost of living is affecting eye health and NHS waiting times.

The results will be used to highlight the role of optometry in community-led care and demonstrate how it can make a real difference for patients, the association said.

Member experiences will help the AOP raise awareness of the issues that are being faced in practice.

The survey will be open from 7 –21 September, and should take no more than five minutes to complete.

All qualified, practising optometrist members should have received an email with a link to take part on Wednesday 7 September.

More information on the AOP’s Voice of Optometry surveys can be found online.
