Ahead of the UK’s biggest show in the optical calendar, OT asked eyewear manufacturers and brands to share a hint of what new styles will be under the spotlight at 100% Optical 2026.

Read on to be introduced to newcomer in the market, Monarkh Eyewear, the first collaboration between powerhouses Safilo and Victoria Beckham Eyewear Collection, the latest insights from Millmead Optical Group, the newest collections from both Mykita and Morel, and an update from Eyespace.

Petite luxury

Monarkh Eyewear, a new luxury brand, will launch exclusively at 100% Optical.

Founder, dispensing optician, Saira Patel, shared that the brand was created from a personal challenge: “The inability to find eyewear that delivered both striking design and absolute comfort, especially for petite wearers with high prescriptions.”

The eyewear is designed in the UK and made from premium materials including Mazzucchelli acetate.

Patel said: “Eyewear shouldn’t just help you see – it should help you be seen. I wanted to create frames that make people feel powerful, stylish, and unstoppable – without compromise.”

Designer style

Safilo will be showcasing the Spring/Summer 2026 Victoria Beckham Eyewear Collection.

This will mark the eyewear brand’s first eyewear collection produced and distributed in partnership with Safilo.

The range of sunglasses and optical frames includes a colour palette of timeless shades of black and grey, Havana, and polished metal, with lenses in classic brown and grey, burgundy, green, and blue.

The ‘V-cut’ signature appears on the lugs, with the logo also engraved on the lens and temple tip.

A portfolio of additions

Millmead Optical Group is introducing new additions across Reykjavik Eyes, Puriti, and LK Bennett.

Reykjavik Eyes introduces four models, blending Nordic minimalism with subtle detailing in lightweight titanium.

Puriti introduces its first half-eye design, a refined shape for a fresh dispensing option.

LK Bennett adds two metal frames for petite faces, with a uniquely British aesthetic, delicate detailing, and soft contour.

The eyewear will be on display at the Millmead Optical Group stand E24.

Core classic

Mykita will bring its latest collections to 100% Optical, including the Core Selection – a range of frames that “define the visual and material language” of the brand.

The frames are characterised by their lightweight steel constructions, hybrid framework, and sculptural acetate.

The NO1 collection features a functional edge with open mechanics, utilitarian edge and modern silhouettes. The Lite models refine the frames into 3mm temples. Patented spiral hinges combine technical function with the signature Mykita aesthetic.

The hybrid frames combine acetate-fronts with stainless steel temples, or acetate rims that are milled and fitted inside a stainless steel frame.

The final set of frames are made with Acetate Renew, for a reduced environmental footprint, and a patented Edura hinge to preserve the personalised fit of the frame over time for distortion-free movement.

Calligraphy collab

Morel is introducing a new collaboration with the designer Constance Guisset.

The capsule collection features three models: ‘Virgule,’ ‘Esperluette,’ and ‘Parenthèse,’ with soft silhouettes, lines inspired by calligraphy, and an option of gradients or tricolour shades.

The frames are available in both optical and sun, offering comfort and elegance.

Immersed in design

Eyespace will debut its new concept stand to the British market, designed to give delegates a more immersive experience of the brands.

The spotlight will be on Eyespace’s 2026 sunglasses, including Defender’s new ‘Denali’ design, which was recognised in September’s Silmo Trend Forum.

Cocoa Mint will also extend the Studio edit, with bright, bold, and exaggerated yet wearable silhouettes. These will be joined with new dispense-friendly designs ensuring a breadth and balance across the range.
