Small but mighty
Sports frames
Adidas has highlighted the ‘Dunamis Evo S,’ a version of the ‘Dunamis Evo’ style created to meet the needs of athletes with narrow facial shapes and features.
A new stability bar and nose piece can be adjusted in all directions, along with the ventilation system on the temples, and a slot on the top of the frame front is designed for maximum performance.
The lenses have been treated to improve comfort and adaptability to different weather conditions and sport needs.

Accelerating research
Technology
A new medical technology company, Cascader Limited, has been launched with the aim of accelerating artificial intelligence research into real-world clinical tools to enable novel diagnostic technologies to reach patients faster.
The new company has been formed from a partnership of Moorfields Eye Hospital Foundation Trust, the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, and Topcon Healthcare.
The company builds on the field of oculomics – the use of advanced retinal imaging to uncover insights into systemic conditions.

Myopia control focus
Children’s frames
Look Eyewear’s branch of children’s frames, Lookkino, has highlighted its frames designed to support myopia management lenses.

Eye safe beauty
Dry eye
Positive Impact has become the exclusive distributor for the Twenty/Twenty Beauty range of eye-safe cosmetics in the UK.
The brand was founded by US ophthalmologist, Dr Diane Hilal-Campo, and designed to be safe for those with sensitive eyes, as well as contact lens users and those suffering from dry eye disease.
Hilal-Campo said: “We are excited to be bringing the Twenty/Twenty Beauty range to UK eye care practitioners and their patients.”
“Beauty shouldn’t compromise eye health. Our products are thoughtfully crafted and are free from harmful chemicals and preservatives. Plus, they are vegan and cruelty-free. We are committed to ethical and sustainable practices throughout our product development,” she continued.

Clip-on style
Clip-on style
Andy Wolf Eyewear has expanded its AWearness collection with metal frames and clip-ons.
The AWearness collection uses materials made from recycled content and uses a kit system – meaning all parts of the frame can be dismantled, replaced or recycled.
The metal frames have been designed to draw attention to the technical details, and feature facets and embossed patterns. The individual components, such as temple inserts, hinges, and temples, have been developed specifically for the collection.
A pattern made from the letters ‘A’ and ‘W’ is used throughout the collection.
The new models are available in four colours: rose gold, gold, black-silver, and ‘gun’ matte. A matching sun clip is available for each design.
And don't miss this...
Paper-thin
Modo Eyewear has added three new styles to its Paper-Thin Collection.
The frames feature a front piece made from beta-titanium layered with TR90, with screwless hinges connecting to the beta-titanium temples.
The new styles include a butterfly shape (‘4118’), an oversized rounded square (‘4129’), and a rounded rectangular frame, ‘4130’ which has a higher bridge and a slightly thicker TR90 construction.

New collaborations
Ashton Riley Optical Limited has formed an exclusive partnership with Carolina Lemke Eyewear for distribution in the UK and Ireland.
The partnership will introduce a diverse range of the brand’s eyewear, including prescription glasses and sunglasses, available through a network of select independent optical retailers in the UK.
The brand is known for a blend of “fashion-forward aesthetics and functional excellence,” and cater to a range of preferences.
Brett Waugh, managing director of Ashton Riley, shared: “Carolina Lemke’s innovative designs and commitment to quality make them a perfect addition to our portfolio.”
