The ‘Horizon’ range focuses on minimalism, function, and lightness, with frames made from high-density acetate.
The ‘Odyssey’ collection offers frames with a distinctive character and made from premium materials with titanium nose pads and lenses featuring an anti-reflective coating.

Cosmetics
Positive Impact has launched a new eyeshadow palette from optocosmetics brand, Eyes Are The Story.
The Story Shades Eyeshadow Palette includes six tones, ranging from a highlighter and neutral colours to darker shades. The eyeshadows, made by Essiri Labs, are formulated for all skin types, vegan, and cruelty-free.
The company suggests the eyeshadows have been created without the fragrance, phthalates, parabens and talc which can sometimes be found in eyeshadows.
The palettes feature caffeine, to help reduce inflammation and puffiness, and Resveratrol, a natural antioxidant for anti-ageing. Olive leaf extract is also included for its effects in softening the skin.
Amy Gallant Sullivan, founder of Eyes Are The Story and Essri Labs, said: “The Story Shades is our latest answer to eye cosmetics that impact eye health.”
Maxine Green, Positive Impact’s sales and operations director, explained that there has been demand for a range of eyeshadows since the launch of Eyes Are The Story.
“It’s exciting that they’ve finally arrived,” she said.

Four-in-one
Equipment
Topcon Healthcare has introduced the auto kerato-refracto tonometer, the TRK-3 Omnia, to the European market.
The four-in-one instrument combines a refractometer, keratometer, non-contact tonometer, and pachymeter in one device.
The company suggests this will support efficiency and reduce the need to move a patient between multiple devices.
The device features one-touch operation, with patented rotary prism technology for stable measurements, as well as an improved user interface.

In the loop
Frames
Blackfin has introduced the ‘Aero Loop,’ a new minimalist line in its rimless eyewear portfolio.
The ‘Aero Loop’ styles incorporate a titanium micro-hinge hidden behind a patented lens fastener and dual circular lens holes that are not visible from the side.
The hinges are designed for strength and durability, while also being unobtrusive and aesthetic.
The collection boasts a high degree of personalisation with 40 different lens shapes, two bridge sizes, and four temple designs in 40 colourways, offering more than 50,000 combinations.
And don’t miss this...
Polished charm

William Morris London, part of the Design Eyewear Group, has released new frames emphasising creativity and “polished charm.”
New frames include ‘Jule,’ an oval frame inspired by fashion trends, featuring an elegant, dropped brow bar. The gold detail hardware and subtle WM monogram offer a premium look.
Complementing this frame is the ‘Juke,’ another fashion-statement piece inspired by catwalks. The take on a vintage style combines a gold metal brow bar with acetate lower rims and sides. Gold hardware and monogram end tips finish the frame.
The oversized ‘Battersea’ sunglasses frame features unique monogram branding on the sides and demonstrates gradients, marbling, and laminations on the lightweight acetate.
The ‘Alexandra,’ vintage-style metal frames offer a variety of choices from shiny metals to brushed matte and golds in gradient finished.
Independent design

Specs Addict, an eyewear supplier working with independent practices, has launched its first range of frames.
The new collection follows the debut of the company earlier in the year. Specs Addict frames are now stocked by more than 50 independent practices.
The business draws on knowledge gained from four generations of the family working in optics.
