Registration is now open for Specsavers’ annual Professional Advancement Conference (PAC), which will take place at Birmingham’s International Conference Centre (ICC) on 13 September.

Spanning optics and audiology, the one-day CPD conference is open to all practitioners, with an early bird booking rate of £109+VAT available for the next six weeks.

Speaking about the conference, Bhavik Parmar, head of continuing professional development (CPD) at Specsavers, said: “We’ve enhanced the programme significantly this year and introduced new ways to learn. There’s also practical support like on-site childcare so more clinicians can attend, develop and connect.”

Specsavers confirmed that clinical topics explored through optical sessions will include dry eye, myopia management and glaucoma. Tinnitus and sustainability will be covered in the audiology stream.

Parmar highlighted: “There are dedicated tracks and sessions for IP optometrists, trainees, contact lens opticians, dispensing opticians, WOPEC delegates, domiciliary and audiology colleagues.”

New for 2026 is a Learning Hub offering bite-sized sessions throughout the day, while education will be delivered in a range of formats, including theatre-based clinical scenarios, VRICS, workshops, and peer discussions.
