SightCare Awards 2026 shortlist revealed
Finalists have been recognised for clinical excellence, exceptional patient care, team development, sustainability, and community impact

The shortlist has been announced for the SightCare Awards 2026, recognising excellence across independent practices.
SightCare noted that the shortlist reflects the “breadth and strength of independent optometry.”
Finalists have been recognised for their commitment to clinical excellence, exceptional patient care, team development, sustainability, and community impact.
Emma Rawlings, CEO of SightCare, said: “Each year, the SightCare Awards give us the opportunity to celebrate the remarkable people and practices that define independent optometry. This year’s shortlisted practices demonstrate not only clinical and commercial excellence, but also the values, care and community spirit that make independent practice so special.”
Six practices have been shortlisted for the Independent Practice of the Year award: Concept Eye Clinic Gosforth, Kelcher Optometrists, Loxley Opticians and Eyewear Experts, S G Eyecare, Turners Vision, and Vincent Roberts Optometrist.
The Customer Service Excellence award shortlist includes A J Rawling Opticians, Eglington Eyecare, Yorkshire Eyewear, and Webb, Lucas and Stubbs Optometrists.
Three practices were named for the Clinical Excellence award: Martin Smith Opticians, Safarian and Simon Opticians, and Webb, Lucas, and Stubbs Optometrists.
The Community Practice of the Year award is down to four practices: Concept Eye Clinic Fishguard, Eye 2 Eye Opticians, The Eyeworks, Zeidan Eyecare Centre.
The Specialist Clinic award shortlist includes Martin Smith Opticians, Safarian and Simon Opticians, Visioncare Development, and Zeidan Eyecare Centre.
Practice Team of the Year has a three-practice shortlist: Probert and Williams Eye Care, The Eyeworks, and Woodhouse Opticians.
The shortlist for Frame Styling Practice of the Year is Feltham Eyecare Centre, Park Lane Opticians, Respectacle Company, and Sukhi Eyes.
The Environmental Practice of the Year is between two: Probert and Williams Eye Care and S G Eyecare.
The Heart of the Practice award shortlist has named Tanya McKinney of Eglington Eyecare, as well as Elaine Pye and Sara Harvey of Page and Small Opticians.
Five practices are in the running for the Long-standing Practice of the Year title: Andrew Martin & Associates – Optometrists, Concept Eye Clinic Morden, Kelcher Optometrists, Michael Offord Optometrist, and Richard Petrie Optometrists.
The awards will be held as part of SightCare Live 2026, held on 26 April at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham. Winners will be announced at the awards gala dinner.
