Cult Vision Curated Eyewear will participate in Clerkenwell Design Week Fringe Festival, with an installation featuring eyewear by the Swiss sustainable brand, Einstoffen.

Clerkenwell Design Week will take place between 23–25 May. The installation will be in place from 17 April until 14 July.

The installation, entitled, ‘Do you dare to step into the future with Einstoffen?’ will pay homage to the heroes of Cubism, with eyewear from Einstoffen’s latest collection, ‘Close your eyes and sing,’ inspired by artists such as Pablo Picasso or Paul Klee.

The collection is designed to bridge the gap between high-end and High Street, with eyewear that features “constructivism, surrealism and futurism to create a contemporary coolness.”

Cult Vision said of the cubist inspiration: “In the art deco era, for those who were brave enough to step into the future, waited an immersive and colourful revolution of the cubist aesthetic.”

During the installation, visitors to Clerkenwell Design Week will have a chance to win a Swiss Einstoffen watch by scanning the QR code in the Cult Vision window.

Cult Vision has also teamed up with distribution company, Traders & Makers, to extend the competition out to Einstoffen stockists in the UK.

Einstoffen is carbon neutral, and offset emissions with the support of internationally-verified climate protection projects, while Einstoffen Eyewear is handmade with sustainable materials, such as biodegradable acetate and wood from only FSC-certified materials.
