Bollé is supporting its partner, the professional road cycling team, B&B Hotels – KTM, at the Tour de France this year with its latest cycling sunglasses.

The 2022 event, held from 1 to 24 July, marks the third Tour de France for the B&B Hotels – KTM team, though a number of riders will be making their debuts.

To support the team, Bollé is equipping the riders with its ‘C-Shifter’ and ‘Icarus’ cycling sunglasses, as well as its newly-launched ‘Avio Mips’ helmet.

The ‘C-Shifter’ frame combines a cylindrical design, made from TR90 nylon, with a half rim shield for ventilation. The frame is designed to be light, flexible and comfortable, and also features an adjustable nose piece and tips with Thermogrip rubber for a perfect fit.

The frames are available with Bollé’s high contrast lens, Volt, and in a new green colour.

The ‘Icarus’ frameless model weighs 23 grams for an ultra-light fit. Thermagrip rubber on both S-curved sides and nose pad provide added stability.

The frame is available with Bollé’s Phantom photochromic lens and Volt+ high contrast polarised lens.

Announcing its support for the cycling team, Bollé shared that the company has a “long history of involvement with the highest levels of cycling.”

“The first sports sunglasses ever created by the brand, Nylon Grand Sport, were introduced in 1958 to equip famous cyclists such as Louison Bobet during the Tour de France,” the brand added.
