Marchon has been shining a spotlight on the ‘Nike Flyfree’ sunglasses, which offer interchangeable lens options.

The frames feature customisable temple tips and nose pads wrapped in silicone for both traction and comfort. Ventilated channels at the temples, hinges and top bar help to keep the frames free from fog.

‘Nike Flyfree’ is available in five colourways and sold with alternate lens options, designed with Nike Max Pro Optics to have anti-reflective, hydrophobic, and oleophobic coatings.

Minimalist and rimless

Neubau kicked off 2024 with the launch of its first rimless eyewear collection: Sphere. The range plays with perspective and utilises contemporary soft tints for a minimalist approach.

The new line includes eight optical glasses that feature geometric straight lines, interesting cut outs, and micro shapes. Each pair utilises a core of beta titanium.

Frames in the collection are named after constellations: ‘Orion,’ ‘Andromeda,’ ‘Octans,’ ‘Corvus,’ ‘Phoenix,’ ‘Cassiopeia,’ ‘Argo,’ and ‘Vela.’

Funky frames

Sunglasses

Maui Jim has released three fun and funky sunglasses silhouettes.

‘Good Fun’ is a large square nylon frame (pictured) with embedded nose pads and SuperThin Glass butterfly lenses. The frame is available in three colours: ‘Black with Tortoise,’ ‘Rootbeer Fade,’ and ‘Raspberry Fade.’

The bold square ‘Rooftop’ uses PolarizedPlus2 lenses, which the brand suggests “offers the best view of your cityscape in an iconic statement piece.” The frame is available in ‘Black with Crystal,’ ‘Blue Tortoise,’ ‘Black with Tortoise,’ or ‘Pink Tortoise with Pink.’

Finally, ‘Mokupuni,’ revisits the classic round frame, adding texture with “subtle protrusions and carvings along the titanium frame front,” the brand shared. The frames, named after the word for ‘Island’ in Hawaiian, are paired with MauiBrilliantTM lenses and available in ‘Deep Black,’ ‘Titanium’ and ‘Gold.’

Dry eye comfort

Through a recent collaboration, Positive Impact will supply the Peep Club range, focused on the proprietary Heated Eye Wand Pro.

The device is an alternative heat and massage therapy for dry eye, the companies shared, which can be set between 37°C and 45°C and heats up in 60 seconds.

The wand has been clinically shown to increase Non-Invasive Tear Break-Up Time, Lipid Layer Thickness and tear meniscus height.

Four modes are available, two to improve comfort for people with dry eyes, and two to improve the appearance of fine lines and puffiness around the eyes.

The device is provided with a USB charging cable and travel case.

Adjustable comfort

Zeiss presented a collection of lightweight models featuring neat lines and details.

Included in the collection is the rectangular frame, ‘ZS23718,’ made from a plant-based resin. Interchangeable nose pads and extendible metal sides enable adjustability and a comfortable fit. A Zeiss logo on the sides is engraved onto a metal plaque.

The frame is available in matte tortoiseshell, matte black, matte transparent khaki, and matte transparent avio.
