Nature in 3D
Andy Wolf Eyewear has partnered with artist Flynn Negele on its latest campaign, Grow with us – into another dimension, which celebrates the beauty of nature and highlights its commitment to recultivating one square meter of wildflower meadow for every pair of glasses sold. Pictured, the metal frame ‘4786’ combines a geometric shape with metallic golds, rose-gold and grey-gold, with pops of colour such as violet, orange, blue and green.

Louis Stone has launched a new range of Volk lenses, including the Volk G-4 Lens. It features a two in one extended handle, a new gonioscopy lens with four angled 64° mirrors to deliver a complete view of the anterior chamber angle with slight rotation and a small 8.4mm radius contact surface.

Ortho-K myopia management
No7, part of CooperVision Specialty EyeCare, has launched the EyeDream MC, an ortho-K contact lens designed for myopia management. The lenses are available in spherical and toric designs, correcting prescriptions up to -5.50D and -2.50D astigmatism.

The Magic Touch
Positive Impact has launched an eye drop applicator, Magic Touch. Designed by ophthalmologist, Dr Julius Shulman, patients apply one drop to the applicator with capillary action making the drop ‘jump’ onto their eye. The medical grade silicone contains a patented silver ion antimicrobial agent.

Ellivron Optical has released its first frame, a “perfect” round model, the ‘Magna Clip MC05.’ The frame is available with the additions of clips for filters, or the Eyeguard Velcro fastening headband.

Apple will introduce a Screen Distance feature to its devices, and a function to measure time spent in daylight to the Apple Watch, in order to support healthy vision and particularly support children to follow recommendations to reduce the risk of myopia progression.
