Making the most of 100% Optical
OT asked show organisers for their recommendations, top tips, and need-to-know info ahead of 100% Optical 2025
27 February 2025
There are scant few sleeps left until 100% Optical 2025 dawns. With so much in store – from a packed exhibition hall, to a comprehensive education programme, and networking opportunities galore – it can be difficult to know where to begin.
OT asked the organisers of 100% Optical, CloserStill, to share their insight and top tips.
With so much education on offer and so many exhibitors to see, how would you recommend delegates make the most of their time at the show?
Celsa Vazquez (CV), commercial director: “When attending 100% Optical, planning is essential. With so much on offer and so many exciting experiences to enjoy across the three days, a well thought-out plan will ensure you make the most of your visit. We have recently published the show guide, including everything that you can expect to help you plan your visit now and save time on the day. You can view it online here.”

Selin Pera (SP), senior marketing executive: “Upon arrival, be sure to pick up a show guide to plan your time wisely. If you have pre-booked seminars, make sure you turn up on time and are scanned in and out of the session. If you wish to attend other seminars, you should queue five to 10 minutes before the session starts for any walk-in availability. This is given on a first-come, first-served basis.
“The show is split in half, with the left-hand side being eyewear and the right-hand side being equipment and our co-located show 100% Ophthalmology. At the Catwalk, you will find three shows per day, with the 100% Studio right next to it. This is our hand-picked selection of luxury independent eyewear brands. You can find the full exhibitor list within the show guide as well as the 'You Are Here' boards that are dotted around the show.”
Selin’s top tips
When to arrive: 10am from 1–3 March; make sure to register for your badge before arrival
What to wear: Smart casual
What to bring: Make sure to bring your printed badge to easily access the show
What not to miss: Optical Women's Assocation: Sips and Sparkles networking event, 4pm Saturday on the Catwalk. The Love Eyewear Awards at 5pm on the Catwalk on Saturday, and the Catwalk shows three times a day. And don’t forget the opening night party at Central Bar sponsored by Eyewear by David Beckham.
What area of the show would you most recommend delegates check out?
CV: “The 100% Studio, sponsored by Nikon Lenswear UK. You can experience an exclusive debut of international brands, where exceptional craftsmanship, quality, and creativity come together. With 12 new stands including the highly requested DITA, Dita Lancier, MYKITA, l.a.Eyeworks, Masunaga, L.G.R, Fleye Copenhagen and a fresh, upscale aesthetic, it is definitely worth checking out.”
SP: “For those seeking education at the show, especially with the new CPD cycle having just begun, we are providing top-notch quality seminars in partnership with the AOP that will set you up for the new cycle. We’ve got 10 hubs across the show floor to choose from to collect your CPD points and help you meet your learning outcomes across key topics including glaucoma and myopia management.”
How would you recommend delegates engage with the event on social media, and why?
SP: “Make sure to tag us @100optical and use the hashtag #100optical throughout the show so we can repost your content. We always want to see visitor feedback.”
