Silmo Paris 2018 will provide a “complete and comprehensive exhibitor offering” as well as an “ecosystem of services” to eye care professionals, according to the organiser of the show.

Speaking about the trade show, director of Silmo Paris, Eric Lenoir, said: “With its unique mix of fashion and health, technical expertise and performance, anticipation and inspiration, business and socialising, the ambition of Silmo Paris has always been to be much more than just a professional trade fair.”

Returning to the French capital from 28 September–1 October, Silmo will feature new opportunities for attendees, including Silmo Next, which will focus on innovation and market trends, enabling exhibitors to anticipate the future of the eyewear.

Practitioners will be able interact via the Silmo Match app, which provides a platform to schedule meetings, discover new products and network.

Returning to the trade show is the Silmo Academy, which will provide a training programme on the latest scientific developments in eye care. The Silmo D’or Awards are also back to recognise the talent and expertise of the profession.
