Opti expands exhibitors

A German optics and design trade show will feature a new exhibition hall in 2018 to accommodate for its growth.

Opti takes place at Fairground Munich from 12–14 January 2018 and will include eyewear exhibitors, such as David Green Eyewear, Monogram Eyewear and Von Arkel.

A new area, Hall B4, will host new and returning exhibitors in the machinery, components and raw materials markets, such as Satisloh, Schneider and Optotech.

Project manager of Opti, Bettina Reiter, said that the addition of a new hall is another step forward for the trade show.

“The fact that they are using the trade show to present themselves indicates the growing prominence of Opti,” Ms Reiter said.

First time exhibitors include OBE Ohnmacht & Baumgartner, which produces the moving components of frames, such as hinges and screws. A 3D printing supplier, CIPRES Technology Systems, and Italian manufacturer, MEI Srl, will also exhibit at Opti for the first time.
