With the latest film in the James Bond franchise in cinemas, Barton Perreira has unveiled the first instalment of its 007 Legacy capsule collection with EON Productions Limited.
The new collection has been launched to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond series of films in 2022.
The first release includes two limited edition sunglass models inspired by vintage Bond characters.
The ‘Thunderball’ rectangular frame pays tribute to the 1965 film of the same name. The model features polarised lenses and is available in four polished acetate colours: black, chestnut, champagne and dusk. The 1962 007 logo appears on the lens.
The ‘Avtak’ sunglasses are inspired by the character of Max Zorin from the 1985 film, A view to a Kill. The oversized frames reimagine the aviator style, with smooth and textured detailing to create a multi-layered effect across the bridge and sides. A breath logo also displays the Zorin ‘Z.’
Each frame features a logo plaque on the side tips with the original 1962 007 logo. Frames will be available with a custom-branded Barton Perreira 007 sunglass case with cleaning cloth.
