Optix Software has been providing business management solutions for nearly a decade, during which it has continuously introduced new innovative software features for independent practices throughout the UK.
Last year, the company invested £450,000 in expanding and adding new facilities at its York base, with the expansion creating nine new jobs.
One of the most unique features of the company’s business management software was the recent integration of the MySight patient portal and a patient app available for both Android and iOS devices.
These enable Optix users to provide a complete online service for their patients, including real-time appointment booking, along with the ability to view prescription and contact lens details, see fundus photographs and update personal information.
The MySight app is said to be the first of its kind within the optical industry.
