Ready for life after university? We got you!
Optometry Today (OT), in partnership with the AOP, invite you to join a webinar series designed to help you feel more confident as you take your first steps into practice. Across three interactive sessions, we’ll explore the things you don’t always learn in clinic: what employers are really looking for, how to think and act like a professional, and how to look after yourself in a busy working environment.
Each session includes a short, practical talk followed by an honest panel discussion with clinicians sharing real experiences, common pitfalls, and the things we wish we had known at the start.
During our third and last session, Fiona will explore the mental health of eye care professionals and how behaviours, habits, and workplace pressures can shape wellbeing. She will share practical strategies to help you look after yourself, build resilience, and sustain a healthy career in optometry.
This event is exclusively for AOP student members.
