Mondottica launches new brand: After’
The premium optical brand focuses on bold and contemporary statement frames for women

Eyewear company Mondottica has launched a new premium optical brand for women; After’.
After’ has been launched with a focus on bold and contemporary statement eyewear for women, with Mondottica describing it as a brand “celebrating individualism with trend-led and modern frames.”
The debut range of optical frames features striped acetate plates and bold colour combinations, Mondottica said, adding a “graphic and distinctive touch” to every piece.
The brand’s signature approach to vivid colour and stripes is achieved through layered lamination acetates.
The slimline designs are achieved through use of UTX 1.3 acetate, with a rim that is only 1.3mm thick, it is 35% thinner and 50% lighter than classic acetate, the company said.
Eyewear from the brand is exclusively hypoallergenic and ultra-lightweight, with design details including spring hinges for flexibility and resilience.
Standout pieces from the launch collection include ‘AF165,’ a combination frame with round acetate front and slim metal and acetate temples. The ‘AF177’ is a fully coloured acetate design with round shape front and solid-coloured temples.
