The co-founders of The Body Doctor, Sam and Adam Wymer, will participate in the London Marathon in 2026 in memory of their father.

The pair will seek to raise £10,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK, in honour of their father, Maurice Wymer, who died two years ago – four weeks after receiving a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

The brothers described their father as their “hero, inspiration, and best mate,” with Sam commenting: “Dad wasn’t a runner and neither are we, but he believed in hard work, determination and giving anything a proper go. So here we are, running in his honour, hoping to make a difference.”

The brothers will carry a New Zealand flag across the finish line as a tribute to their father’s Kiwi roots and as a symbol of the family’s strength, unity, and determination.

Adam said: “Watching how quickly pancreatic cancer took hold was devastating. If we can help even one family by supporting research into earlier diagnosis, then every mile will be worth it.”

Sam added: “This one’s for you, Dad, we’ll see you at the finish line.”
