Deepcove Optical becomes UK optical channel partner for Rudy Project

A new partnership between Deepcove Optical and Saddleback will enable independent practices to offer prescription sports eyewear from Rudy Project

Deepcove Optical has become the exclusive optical channel partner for Rudy Project performance sports eyewear for the UK market.

The company has formed a new partnership with Saddleback Ltd, the UK distributor for the Italian manufacturer, Rudy Project, which will enable independent optometry practices to offer the eyewear with prescription sports lenses.

Deepcove Optical will focus on independent practices, while Saddleback, a provider of road cycling and mountain biking products, will continue to supply sports retailers.

Roland Allen, managing director of Deepcove Optical, said: “We are delighted to partner with Saddleback and Rudy Project. This agreement reflects our mission to support independent practices with differentiated products that combine world-class frames and advanced lens technology.”

George Wise, UK brand manager at Saddleback, added: “Working with Deepcove allows us to expand the reach of Rudy Project eyewear in the UK while ensuring that customers can access high-quality prescription sports solutions through their trusted opticians.”

Rudy Project was founded in Treviso, Italy, in 1985. The company develops, manufactures, and distributes high-performance sports eyewear, optical solutions, and helmets.
