Mainline Instruments has formed a partnership with InMode to distribute its Envision Dry Eye care platform in the UK and Ireland.

InMode is known for its intense pulsed light (IPL), laser, and radiofrequency medical technologies.

The Envision platform is designed for customisable treatments in optometry clinics, using three modes of treatment to target subdermal layers in the periorbital area.

The Lumecca-I delivers IPL to reduce vascular inflammation, with an adaptor for precision treatments.

The Forma-I provides bipolar radiofrequency energy to target meibomian glands to support dry eye treatment, improving the quality of meibum and promoting collagen.

The Morpheus8 skin treatment uses radiofrequency micro needling to stimulate the underlying layers of the dermis.

Jack Hawkins, managing director of Mainline Instruments, said: “As awareness of dry eye increases, more of our customers are seeking advanced treatments beyond traditional drops and wipes. Partnering with InMode enables us to provide the Envision platform, a state-of-the-art solution, to meet the growing demand for effective dry eye care.”

“We’re thrilled to expand our product offering and look forward to introducing this technology to new and existing customers,” Hawkins said.

InMode set out its strategy for the UK market as being built on innovation and collaboration, suggesting Mainline is the “perfect fit” for the partnership.

Sharon Flora, a dry eye optometrist and key opinion leader for the InMode Envision, commented: “I’ve had the privilege of working with InMode and the Envision platform for a couple of years. Dry eye is a widespread condition that causes ocular discomfort, redness, and fluctuating vision, and its impact is felt by people of all ages.”

Flora suggested the distribution partnership would help to increase access to the treatment for more patients “improving the lives of dry eye sufferers.”
