New commercial director for Menicon

Menicon Limited has appointed Chris Mercer as new commercial director.

Mercer has extensive experience in the optical industry with roles in Ciba Vision, Alcon, and CooperVision.

He began his career at Ciba Vision, where he served as a mobile business development manager and, later, as Yorkshire business development manager before progressing into national key accounts.

In 2015, Mercer joined The Gap Partnership as a negotiation consultant, progressing into leadership positions including head of retail, and sales excellence director.

Prior to his appointment at Menicon, Mercer served as director of key accounts and myopia management at CooperVision.
