Eye care professionals who are directly involved in the provision of children’s low vision services are being asked to complete an online survey.

Responses to the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) survey will help to shape a comprehensive framework for children’s low vision services, ensuring that every visually impaired child receives timely, high-quality support regardless of location.

RNIB optometry and low vision engagement manager, Preeti Singla, highlighted that the framework will help to address disparities in service provision across the UK.

“We want these standards to be set collectively by the low vision sector and encourage anyone involved in the delivery of children’s low vision services to have their say,” she said.

The survey, which closes on December 3, takes between 10 and 15 minutes to complete. It can be completed by following this link.
