Haag-Streit UK has revealed the course schedule for its Haag-Streit Academy in 2025.
The Haag-Streit Academy will host eight slit lamp and biometry courses across the UK, presenting a mixture of lectures and hands-on workshops.
The workshops provide optometrists and ophthalmologists with an opportunity to practise skills using the Haag-Streit slit lamp or biometry equipment in a relaxed environment.
Guest speaker, Sunil Mamtora, a consultant ophthalmologist, will present lectures on the slit lamp courses.
David Sculfor, consultant optometrist, and Peter Wilson, consultant ophthalmologist, will present at the biometry courses.
Haag-Streit product managers will be present during the courses to answer questions and assist with demonstrations.
The courses have been approved by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Haag-Streit UK confirmed, with all attendees able to receive continuing professional development points.
Slit lamp courses will take place on 13 and 14 March in Leeds, 17 and 18 June in Birmingham, and 2 and 3 October in Bishop’s Stortford.
Biometry-focused courses will be held on 19 and 20 June in Birmingham.
