Optegra announces new CEO

Optegra Eye Health Care has announced the appointment of Dr Peter Byloos (pictured) as CEO.

Joining the healthcare providers with more than 25 years’ experience in the medical technology sector, Dr Byloos takes on the role with immediate effect.

Dr Byloos has worked extensively across Europe during his career, most recently in roles at Gimv, Handicare Group and CR Bard.

Commenting on the appointment, chairman of Optegra, Cyrus Jilla, said: “We are delighted to welcome Peter as CEO. He shares our passion for further building Optegra's unrivalled ophthalmology reputation and promises to pursue our ambitious clinical and commercial goals with renewed vigour.”

Dr Byloos said that he is excited about “accelerating the successful growth and brand recognition of Optegra.”
