The Macular Society is accepting applications for its 2016 research grants
15 July 2015
Preliminary applications for the Macular Society’s 2016 research grants and PhD studentships are now open.
The charity is seeking applications for clinical and laboratory-based research projects which demonstrate a potential benefit to people with macular disease, including age-related macular degeneration and macular dystrophies.
The Macular Society is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting research into macular disease and has committed over £2.3m in research funding since 1999.
Preliminary applications will be shortlisted in October, with successful applicants announced next April.
Applications should be submitted by 5pm on 18 September via email.
