The Body Doctor has launched two new eye drops to relieve dry and irritated eyes.

The new launches include the Eye Doctor Daily Refresh Eye Drops as well as the Eye Doctor Intensive Relief Eye Drops, which are intended to treat more severe and persistent cases of dry eye.

Both eye drops are available in 10ml bottles and feature a dispensing pump, which provides the required amount of solution.

The Daily Refresh Eye Drops contain 0.1% sodium hyaluronate. The company suggests this solution can relieve dry eyes caused by increased screen time, central heating and air conditioning, as well as soothing dust allergies and irritations.

The Eye Doctor Intensive Relief Eye Drops contain 0.3% sodium hyaluronate and can relieve dryness and irritation caused by heating or air conditioning, smoke, dust, pollen and after surgery on the eye.

The drops are preservative-free and last for up to six months. The products can be used by contact lens wearers.

Sharing his experience of using the new eye drops, practice owner and dispensing optician, Adam Rushton, said: “The dispensing mechanism is proving incredibly effective for the delivery of one drop, which improves patient compliance.

“The lubricants are very soothing and provide long lasting relief. The density of the 0.3% Intensive Relief drops is greater than what I’ve used in practice before, which patients like.”

The Eye Doctor range is distributed by Positive Impact.
