Practice management software company launches voice-over IP phone system

Orasis urges independents to develop their patient communications

Practice management software company Orasis is keen for independent practices to evolve in how they communicate with their patients and has launched a voice-over internet protocol (IP) phone system which “can save practitioners money.”

The Orasis system already has a marketing module to send out recalls and promotions to patients via email, letter, low-cost print and post, as well as text messaging.

Highlighting the addition, Orasis software developer, David Francis, explained that practices can dial straight from a patient’s record using the voice-over IP system.

Mr Francis said: “This creates a task in Orasis to record that correspondence so you have a log of all communications.”

He added: “Our aim is to help independent practices offer an efficient service, making sure customer service is second to none from both the practice end and our end.”

For practices with more advanced requirements, Orasis also offers paperless solutions and has the ability to create unique practice management software solutions.
