Organisers of 100% Optical are seeking the views of eye care professionals on accessibility in eye care services.

The survey is open to professionals working in an optical practice, private healthcare, or an NHS setting until 5pm on September 28.

The survey includes questions on common barriers patients experience when accessing eye health services, availability of timely eye care, public awareness campaigns, and underserved groups, among others.

OT asked Sarah Daniels, senior marketing manager for 100% Optical, three quick-fire questions about the survey.

Why is 100% Optical conducting the survey?

We’re gathering insights on accessibility in eye care services, to help us design the event more in line with delegate’s experiences and stay aligned with the evolving needs of the industry.

What will the survey results help to inform?

The results of this survey will help to inform the current challenges that patients face when accessing eye care services, from the professional’s perspective. It will also identify opportunities to raise awareness and improve accessibility in eye health services, which can be explored via the 100% Optical platform.

Who is eligible to participate? What are the closing dates for the survey?
