Positive Impact launches CET event
The Specialist Club meeting will cover topics such as hybrid, scleral, orthokeratology and specialist soft contact lens options
31 May 2018
A new educational event will be launched in July by Positive Impact in collaboration with contact lens manufacturers SynergEyes UK, UltraVision and Menicon.
The Specialist Club’s first meeting will cover topics such as hybrid, scleral, orthokeratology and specialist soft contact lens options, offering delegates up to eight CET points at the one day event.
It will feature lectures for practitioners and fitting demonstrations will be carried out by the sponsoring contact lens companies, who will also highlight their product portfolios.
Speaking about the event, director of marketing and professional services at Positive Impact, Nick Atkins (pictured), said: “It will be a collaboration of specialist contact lens manufacturers with the aim of making it a must attend event for anyone in contact lens practice, either more specialist or those simply interested in expanding their scope of fitting beyond just disposable soft lenses.”
He added that interactive education will be on offer for attendees and, if the event is a success, further events around the country will planned in the second half of the year.
The Specialist Club will host up to 60 delegates at the Holiday Inn, Wembley on 9 July. The organiser can be emailed for further information.
