Safilo Group has signed an exclusivity agreement with Bollé brands with the intention of acquiring Spy+ and Serengeti.

Completion of the proposed transaction is subject to consultation with the competent bodies and customary closing conditions.

Spy+ is a well-established brand in sports and sunglasses, which Safilo suggests will bolster its presence in outdoor channels, as it will be complementary to Smith, one of the home brands in Safilo's portfolio.

Serengeti will be a key asset in the high-end eyewear segment, with its mineral lenses and American heritage supporting a premium position, Safilo said.

Spy+ and Serengeti together generated sales of approximately $39 million on 2025.

The agreement is in line with Safilo’s outlined strategy that focuses on the selective acquisition of brands which could strengthen its presence in high-growth segments.

Safilo’s home brands portfolio includes Smith, Carrera, Polaroid, and Blenders.
