20 November 2025
Specsavers has been listed in the World’s Best Workplaces for the second year in a row.
Specsavers placed 12th in the list, moving up four places from last year, and is the highest ranked UK-based company.
The company was chosen from organisations that took part in the Great Place to Work employee survey process.
Specsavers also ranked eighth in the European list and 26th in the UK. It has been ranked as a Great Place to Work in every country where it operates.
To be considered for the list, companies must have 5000 or more employees globally and be recognised on at least five Best Workplaces lists around the world during 2024 or early 2025.
Organisations were assessed on their efforts to create great workplaces and positively impact people and communities around the world. Companies were required to demonstrate how they support employees with personalised services and meet their needs.
John Perkins, CEO of Specsavers, said: “This is such a special accomplishment for everyone who works so tirelessly to create Specsavers’ outstanding workplace culture. This is something everyone should be really proud of.”
“Our ranking among some of the biggest and brightest businesses in the world will inspire us to continue making life at Specsavers truly special,” he added.
