Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care has introduced a dry eye service across its practices to offer enhanced assessment and treatment options for dry eye symptoms.

Through dry eye consultations, optometrists will assess symptoms and develop tailored treatment plans for the management of dry eye disease.

All clinical teams can provide meibomian gland expression, debridement, and BlefaCalm treatments from Positive Impact.

Branches in Stag Gates, Cobham, Camberley, and St Albans can also offer intense pulse light and low-level light therapy treatments.

The company has also introduced products from Peep Club – a range developed by optometrists to soothe dry eyes at home.

Oliver Tanna-White, clinical performance lead at Leightons, commented: “We’re proud to be launching our new dry eye service across the Leightons network, giving patients access to advanced diagnostics and tailored treatment in their local practice.”

“Dry eye is a common concern for many people, and we’re committed to delivering a clinically led, patient-centred service that makes a real difference to daily comfort and quality of life,” Tanna-White added.

By offering a personalised approach and dedicated consultation, Tanna-White said: “We can confidently reassure them that relief from their symptoms of dry eye is just around the corner.”
