Scottish optometry group, Duncan and Todd, has announced the official opening of a new flagship practice in Dundee city centre. The branch is the first to be refreshed to reflect the group’s new branding and enhanced in-practice customer experience.

The new practice combines two former local branches into one expanded, purpose-built location, the group shared. It features new brand signage, refreshed interiors, and enhanced customer journey touchpoints.

Developed to reflect the group’s “evolving position in the market,” Duncan and Todd outlined that “the refreshed branding blends clinical expertise with a more contemporary, accessible, and community-focused tone.”

The group detailed that new practice developments include: a modernised store design aligned with the group’s new brand direction; a dedicated audiology suite offering expanded hearing care services; additional consulting rooms to support growing demand; a more immersive and personalised retail experience, and a built-in training space to support team development and collaboration.

CEO of Duncan and Todd Group, Mat Norris, commented: “This new flagship store is not just a new location – it’s the first-time customers will see and feel the new Duncan and Todd brand in full.”

“From the design of the space to the way we showcase products and engage with our customers, everything has been reimagined to better reflect our values – care, sustainability and clinical excellence. Dundee was the perfect city to launch this next chapter,” he added.

The rebrand and refit of the Dundee practice forms part of the group’s wider investment programme which is aimed at “future-proofing” the group, as well as “elevating its customer proposition, and creating a consistent experience across all locations.”

Duncan and Todd confirmed that additional practices are set to follow in the coming months as part of a phased rollout.
