EssilorLuxottica will host an event at its Kensington showroom for eye care professionals (ECPs) on 28 February.

ECPs will be able to explore the Leonardo learning platform, participate in educational sessions, and view the latest collections and technology.

The Leonardo team will lead two continuing professional development (CPD) sessions worth three points each, on challenging communications, and dealing with clinical complaints.

A demonstration of the content available on the Leonardo platform will be provided, illustrating the CPD-approved discussion workshops and certification programmes, as well as business courses developed by experts from Harvard Business Review.

The showroom event will take place the day before 100% Optical, which takes place 1–3 March. The company will also be exhibiting on stand E2.

Richard Davies, sales director for frames at EssilorLuxottica, explained that hosing the event prior to 100% Optical “gives us the chance to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to supporting the community and elevating industry standards in terms of customer experience, by allowing independent ECPs to upskill with educational content on offer and experience our impressive showroom ahead of the busy three days.”

“It also provides an opportunity for those customers who cannot attend 100% Optical to come and meet the team, view our extensive product ranges, and experience our hospitality,” he added.

New collections will be on display at the showroom, from brands such as Jimmy Choo, Swarovski, and Ferrari, while the latest additions to the EssilorLuxottica portfolio will also be showcased: Diesel eyewear, Arnette and Sferoflex.

ECPs will be able to take advantage of promotional events at the showroom. The event will be followed by an evening reception at the Kensington Quarter restaurant.
