Duncan and Todd Group has made two new appointments to its leadership team, suggesting this move will accelerate the company’s growth plans.

Kevin Sutherland has been named chief financial officer and Karen Sharpe will take the role of chief commercial officer.

Sutherland, local to Aberdeen, brings financial expertise and leadership experience accumulated over 16 years in the oil and gas sector.

The company suggested Sutherland’s skills will play a “critical role” in the group’s future, “helping to drive operational efficiency and financial growth.”

Sharpe brings experience from fast-paced commercial environments and will spearhead the commercial strategy and customer experience.

Matt Norris, chief executive officer of Duncan and Todd Group, said: “The addition of Kevin and Karen to our leadership team will accelerate our growth plans and ensure that we continue to provide exceptional care to our customers.”

“We are looking forward to the future and the opportunities these new appointments bring as we strengthen our position as leaders in sight and hearing care in Scotland,” he added.
