02 April 2019
Around 200 optometry undergraduates attended Aston University’s Eyeball, which was held at The Marigold hotel in Birmingham on 14 February.
Sponsored by Louis Stone, the evening event was organised by Aston’s Optics Society.
A raffle to raise funds for Vision Care for Homeless People was held on the evening, with second-year undergraduate, Sara Butterworth (pictured), named the winner of the flippers that had been donated by Louis Stone.
Ms Butterworth said: “Thank you so much to Louis Stone for the flippers – I can’t wait to start using them in practical classes and clinics.”
