Marcolin increase investment in Asian market
New offices and ‘Asian-friendly’ eyewear is included in the company’s plans for expansion
05 November 2018
Marcolin Group has increased its investment in the Asian market in response to sales growth of spectacles and sunglasses in the region.
The company’s plan includes organisational strengthening, distribution strategies and commercial logistics.
A new team has been set up exclusively for the Hong Kong market and a dedicated design and product team has been set up to develop ‘Asian-friendly’ eyewear.
Marcolin’s in-house team is now able to meet the tastes of consumers in the region, including specific products for Korea, Japan and South East Asia.
In July, the eyewear company started its partnership with a logistics service provider in the fashion and luxury industry in Asia. It is now able to service all Asia Pacific countries and supply its customers with greater efficiency.
Marcolin doubled the size of its Hong Kong office in October when it moved to a new location in the Harbour City shopping centre, which includes a showroom and sales office.
